I grabbed a stack of fat quarters from my stash, mostly basics with a floral from Rifle Paper Co. and those cute apples from the Smol fabric line. I wanted this quilt to have a woven look, similar to Jelly Weave but with larger pieces and intertwined fabrics. Press the edges well. Pin the hole closed, you will sew it shut in the next step, or when you sew the pillow to the quilt. Topstitch along the top (wide) edge of the pillow cover, ⅛" or so from the edge.
